How did your team come about?
We got to know each other through padel — some of us via our coach Thomas, others by playing open matches with new people. We can definitely say that our shared passion for padel brought us together!
How long have you been playing together?
We now play together for 1,5 years.
What makes your team unique?
Although we have different personalities and backgrounds, padel is our common ground. What truly makes us unique is how supportive we are of one another. We celebrate each other’s successes and lift each other up when things get tough.
How do you prepare for a match?
For our first round, we trained and played matches weekly to build our connection on the court. Since then, we’ve kept playing together as much as possible, even if it’s a bit less structured now. We’ve also shared some great team moments off the court — like the dinner one of the girls organized when we all received our kits, which was such a special memory. I believe that playing well together starts with feeling connected, and that’s something we’ve truly invested in.
What is your most memorable match so far?
I have so many wonderful memories from the competition. Playing at home at Padel NEXT is always a favorite. A highlight was celebrating Padel NEXT’s anniversary during a competition round — it truly turned into a party. But honestly, my best memories come from the sense of support and celebration within the team. That’s what continues to inspire me to play!
Who is the team’s unsung hero of the team?
I think we all bring our own quiet strengths to the team. Personally, I enjoy celebrating everyone and keeping the team’s energy high. Being left-handed adds a fun twist to our game, and my sharp overheads often give opponents trouble. This is what I admire most about each of us:
