Tell us something about the team behind The Racquet Society. Who are the founders?
\n<\/strong>We are the two founders, we are from Latin - America:
\n
Estefania<\/strong>From Mexico, has been living in the Netherlands for 11 years, and felt the need to build a community around shared interests like padel. She has been playing racket sports since childhood and draws energy from meeting new expats like herself.<\/p>\n

Tina<\/strong>From Argentina, she left her country 12 years ago in search of new experiences and to learn more about other cultures and people. She lived in Panama for 3 years and has now been living in Amsterdam for 9 years. She loves sports and adrenaline, likes to try everything \u2013 even solo activities like climbing or running \u2013 and is always looking for a great community to belong to and to start new adventures.<\/p>\n

How did the idea for The Racquet Society come about, and what do you hope to achieve?
\n<\/strong>We have always been members of sports clubs, and at the beginning of 2025 we felt a nostalgic desire to be part of a sporty community again. We thought: what if sports in the Netherlands could be more than just competition? What if it could be a way to bring people together \u2013 not just to win, but to connect, move, have fun, and learn? That idea became the starting point of our community.
\nOur goal is to build a close-knit group of padel enthusiasts who come together for enjoyable meet-up experiences centered around the sport.<\/p>\n

What does it mean to be part of this community?
\n<\/strong>It means joining a group of people who want to improve their padel game while also having fun and connecting with like-minded individuals. Within The Racquet Society, you connect with others based on interests, values, or cultural background. We aim to create an environment where everyone can be themselves and share that with others.<\/p>\n

For whom is The Racquet Society?
\n<\/strong>\"We believe that sports bring people together. TRS is for open-minded, active individuals who value connection, good energy, and friendly competition. Many expats find a great way to build a social network with us, but our doors are equally open to Dutch locals who enjoy the international atmosphere and the fun of the game. We welcome anyone with a passion for padel and an open attitude to meet new people \u2013 whether you\u2019re an expat who has just moved to Amsterdam or a local looking for a fun and social community.<\/p>\n

\u00a0What kind of activities do you offer?
\n<\/strong>We offer a complete padel experience: from clinics and friendly matches to tournaments \u2013 often followed by a fun or educational activity (think cocktails, mindfulness, or other surprising moments). Play padel, share experiences, and enjoy each other\u2019s company.<\/p>\n

What are you most looking forward to?
\n<\/strong>We look forward to meeting people and building a friendly community where we play padel together and enjoy fun activities.<\/p>\n
